Unit Supervisor Joanna Webb shares a Shout Out Case Manager Teena Chavez received from a group home manager, complimenting Teena on the great work in placing a teen with their sibling, and making sure class credits transferred along with it.
Just spoke with a group home manager who wanted to thank case manager Teena Chavez for doing an excellent job transitioning a teen from their group home to a foster home with their sibling. The group home manager reported that Teena ensured the teen's credits would be transferrable and identified when the end of the semester was to ensure they didn’t leave mid-credits. The group home manager reported that the teen has made significant progress in the past five months and having a good case manager who is on top of things has helped in that. I am very proud of Teena’s hard work to get this child placed with their sibling while ensuring educational needs were also met. Great job Teena!
We couldn't have said it any better. Great job Teena!
