In-Home Services Program

A very important function of Department of Child Safety (DCS) is to identify services that assist in supporting and improving the family unit with the goal of maintaining children in the home and reunifying the family whenever safety possible. In-Home Services may be provided in the family's home, the child's current and temporary placement, or in DCS offices. Services are referral driven and are for children and their families as part of a case plan that are a result of a child abuse or neglect report, or for children and families who have a potential risk of abuse or neglect. Services are based on the needs, concerns and stressors of the child and family. Services also address the safety/risk factors and behavioral changes identified by DCS.

For more information, please contact the Statewide In-Home Services Program Coordinator.
