AZDCS Office of Prevention is partnering with local resource centers across Arizona to provide referrals for families in need to obtain up to $1000 per family.
This money is focused on the following 4 areas:
Do You Qualify?
Eligible participants can submit to receive a one-time payment not to exceed $1000 per family – in order to qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
How It Works
The process for receiving funds is simple. With a few easy steps, you can access these funds and get yourself back on track:
- Head into a Family Resource Center
- Fill out an application referral form with estimates from your desired vendor:
- Trade school
- Auto repair shop
- Pediatric dentist
- Mental health support provider
- Approved service referrals will be sent to the payment provider [Community Counts] for payment.
- Community Counts will contact and pay your preferred vendor directly.
- The Family Resource Center will contact your family to inform you of approval or denial and let you know when your payment is complete.

No, as the children are in the care and custody of a child protection agency
If I had a prior DCS report that was closed unsubstantiated, would I qualify for this program?
Yes, as long as there are no current open/active cases.
Are there any income requirements?
No
Are there any citizenship requirements?

How many referrals can be submitted per family?
You can only submit one referral per family, not to exceed $1,000
Will funds be reimbursed to the family for services?
No, the funds will be paid directly to the vendor providing the service
What constitutes a family unit?
