In 1995, representatives from several professional agencies signed statements supporting Multidisciplinary Protocol as an effective tool to minimize trauma to children and to serve as a guideline for coordination of efforts with other community agencies. In December 2003, the Arizona Legislature enacted legislation mandating the development of a county-wide protocol for the A.R.S §8-817 B&C. Representatives from DCS, the county attorney’s office, law enforcement agencies, and Attorney General’s Office joined together to revise existing Multidisciplinary Protocol for the Investigation of Child Abuse. The following 15 documents represent those protocols for each county in the state of Arizona.
