Arizona Department of Child Safety
Phone: Child Abuse Hotline 1-888-767-2445
The Department of Child Safety has made significant improvements to child welfare over the past three years.
But there is more work to be done.
Governor Doug Ducey’s executive budget provides the resources so DCS case workers can focus on strengthening families and protecting children.
Under the executive budget, DCS can increase our efforts to find permanent homes for children through adoption, replace our aging data system, and maintain kinship supports so fewer children enter out-of-home-care.
“We appreciate that the Governor and legislature continue to make child welfare a priority and support our efforts to ensure every child in Arizona has a safe and loving home,” said DCS Director Greg McKay.
