FACT

The FACT is children in foster care don’t have access to the tools necessary to be successful in school. That’s why we launched a program that we hope is here to stay: FACT. Fostering Achievement through Computer Technology (FACT) is a program that provides technology and training to Arizona's foster youth!

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), in cooperation with community partners such as the #LoveUp Foundation
and the Phoenix Police Department, launched this program to bring training and technology to Arizona’s foster youth to help them thrive.

Our program, launched summer of 2018, has served 500 youth so far:

  • Serving students in DCS care.
  • Online safety/responsibility training is provided by the Phoenix Police Department, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, and The Arizona State Attorney General's Office.
