Convertirse en madre o padre de crianza temporal es una decisión que mejorará la vida de un niño o una niña bajo cuidado, así como su propia vida. Más allá de invitar a su hogar a un niño o una niña que necesita su cuidado, como madre o padre de crianza temporal usted también será su fuente de apoyo, de comprensión y de bondad. Usted tiene la oportunidad de iluminar una vida y de tener un impacto significativo en la manera en la que se forma su futuro.

Un Adulto Puede Hacer la Diferencia

Aprender sobre la crianza temporal puede ser intimidante, pero a menudo es poderoso escuchar a aquellos que lo han hecho. Estas historias permitirán a los futuros padres o madres de crianza temporal (como usted) escuchar lo que pueden esperar, lo que los niños y niñas en crianza temporal requieren, y entender qué tan grande es el impacto que usted puede tener en un niño o una niña bajo su cuidado.

Mediante el envío de este mensaje, yo/nosotros autorizo/amos al Departamento de Seguridad Infantil (DCS por sus siglas en inglés) para que libere la información anterior basándose en la necesidad de conocerla a otras agencias de colocación de niños/as y a contratistas de DCS, como sea necesario, para comenzar con el proceso de certificación para la emisión de la licencia para el hogar de crianza temporal o para el proceso de certificación de adopción.
