- Report Child Abuse
Arizona Department of Child Safety
Phone: Child Abuse Hotline 1-888-767-2445
Director McKay joined Seth Leibsohn on @960thepatriot to discuss the important role DCS has in the protection and safety of Arizona's children:
"Every year we see a big uptick in reports to our hotline in April because people are more vigilant and more observant and they recognize child abuse prevention. But it's a year round thing. It needs to happen every day, every minute and it needs to happen by way of observing and infiltrating abuse or abuse on the horizon. Speaking out and also working towards prevention."
We encourage you to listen to Director McKay discussing this critical information about child abuse prevention. He also explains about the challenging and vital role DCS case workers have in the protection of children. Director McKay explains the devastating impact that substance abuse can have on families and children, and the critical role the community needs to play in ensuring the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Leibsohn and McKay also discuss how the legal system affects DCS, as well as several other compelling topics. If you care about Arizona's children, you don't want to miss this highly compelling interview here:
