Outage Leads To Temporary Change to Child Abuse Hotline Phone

PHOENIX (September 3, 2015) – The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is notifying the public that the Child Abuse Hotline phone number, 1-888-SOS-CHILD (1-888-767-2445), is experiencing a temporary disruption. While work is done to re-establish the number, the public is asked to call 602-542-2300 if they need to make a report.

If a concern involves an emergency situation, the caller is asked to immediately call 911.

No estimate has been given as to when the 888 number to the Hotline will be restored.
