Discover stories from Arizona’s adoptive families. Here you’ll find stories of trial and triumph straight from adoptive parents themselves. These families have adoptive teenagers, siblings and children and each story is unique. We hope you’ll explore these stories and reach out with any questions you have.
Adoption is an opportunity to make a lifelong difference for an Arizona child.
No child should ever feel unwanted – read the amazing stories below about children who have found their forever families and how their lives have changed.
If you’re ready to take the next step in becoming an adoptive parent, you can begin by going through our orientation process. You will get an overview of what the process of adoption is like in Arizona and have many questions answered. Through this process you will also discover the needs of the children in care and determine what the next right step is for yourself and your family.
You can also feel free to contact us by email if you have questions or give us a call. You can talk to an AZDCS representative at 1-877-KIDS-NEEDU. We’re available during business hours, or you can leave a message and we will call you back.
